Born in Lebanon with an Armenian family heritage, Suzanne Kalandjian grew up with a background in fine jewelry and an innovative vision for design. Suzanne's family has a long history in the jewelry industry. Her father owned a jewelry store, and she grew up working closely with him, learning about the business and jewelry design.
Early on, Suzanne only designed jewelry for her friends and family. After a retail store approached Suzanne and asked her to produce a line of jewelry, she soon developed a loyal clientele that included department stores and jewelry chains across the U.S. Suzanne worked with her husband Paul, who is a diamond-setter by trade, to launch the family business in 1988.
Well-versed in traditional jewelry techniques, Suzanne found her voice from the outset. Her designs implement long-established systems while introducing unique concepts that challenge the rules of jewelry design.
